UDAF Habitat Infrastructure Publication Guidance
These rules apply to contributed infrastructure materials and technical cases. Public education must be balanced with permission, privacy and infrastructure security.
- Publish only materials you have permission to share
- Remove passwords and access credentials
- Do not expose exploitable infrastructure weaknesses or unpublished access procedures
- Do not publish sensitive layouts or risk-creating precise locations
- Protect resident and customer personal data
- Separate public educational material from restricted project documentation
Contributed data
Public technical education is welcome. Before publishing a real case, establish permission, remove sensitive details and state what can and cannot be generalized.
Technical recommendations must state their inputs, assumptions, scope and limitations. An educational article is not a project design or certified inspection.
Use public links or a brief description. Do not send passwords, access keys, confidential plans or identifiable resident data through the general form.
